Unifying Principle for Active Devices: Charge Control Principle
نویسنده
چکیده
An active device is an electron device, such as a transistor, capable of delivering power amplification by converting dc bias power into time varying signal power. It delivers a greater energy to its load than if the device were absent. The charge control framework [1-3] presents a unified understanding of the operation of all electron devices and simplifies the comparison of the several active devices used in compound semiconductor analog and digital integrated circuits.

False Negative Fecal Occult Blood Test: Prozone Effect
Dear editor, the fecal occult blood test is the presently widely used screening laboratory test for colorectal cancer. At present, the test is usually based on an immunological diagnostic principle (1, 2). A false positive fecal occult blood is common and widely mentioned in literature. Nevertheless, the false negative is little mentioned in the paper. Here, the authors discuss the issue of the...
متن کاملPontryagin's Minimum Principle for Fuzzy Optimal Control Problems
The objective of this article is to derive the necessary optimality conditions, known as Pontryagin's minimum principle, for fuzzy optimal control problems based on the concepts of differentiability and integrability of a fuzzy mapping that may be parameterized by the left and right-hand functions of its $alpha$-level sets.
متن کامل(An Analysis of Principle no.8 of the Constitution)
This article has analyzed principle no.8 of the Constitution from three aspects: 1-verbal analysis 2-conceptual analysis 3-ways to execute this principle. In first section a precise definition of "call to good", "good and evil" (both in law and in jurisprudence) and "government" have been presented. In second section to have a better understanding of principle no.8, issues such as the relation ...
متن کاملExploitation of the Maximum Entropy Principle in Mathematical Modeling of Charge Transport in Semiconductors
Abstract: In the last two decades, the Maximum Entropy Principle (MEP) has been successfully employed to construct macroscopic models able to describe the charge and heat transport in semiconductor devices. These models are obtained, starting from the Boltzmann transport equations, for the charge and the phonon distribution functions, by taking—as macroscopic variables—suitable moments of the d...
